 DNV-CIBIT has been invited in 1998 to become consultant in the area of knowledge management. Rob van der Spek has since been an external member of the Knowledge Management Steering Committee that is chaired by one of the board members. In the past seven years various projects have been executed ranging from creating tools for learning in New-Product Development (NPD), leaving experts, the Corporate intranet and content management.
These projects have been executed for various business lines and brands (Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems, Lassie, Douwe Egberts Coffee. Sanex, corporate E-business). These projects have been staffed with consultants of both the knowledge management practice as well as the information management practice.
